Christina works from The Practice Rooms in central Bath and also offers a mobile service from your guesthouse or the comfort of your home.
Consultation
Your first treatment includes a free confidential consultation to gather relevant medical and lifestyle information. This helps Christina understand underlying causes of tension and imbalance in your body. A ‘tailor made’ treatment plan will be established. This consultation will not impact your massage time. Allow 15 minutes extra for the consultation in your schedule at your first treatment.
Homecare Advice
Personally tailored homecare advice will be part of your treatment. Relatively small adjustments in your lifestyle and daily habits can often be enough to bring about a significant improvement in your health and well-being. This will help improvements last and to retain that relaxed feeling for as long as possible after your massage.
Massage Waxes and Oils
Christina uses a range of quality base massage oils containing the finest quality natural ingredients, organically-produced and cold-pressed where possible. Christina never uses massage oils or waxes containing artificial fragrances, preservatives or other chemicals.
For facial massage, Christina uses Neal’s Yard aromatic massage oil, an organic, completely natural product containing a fragrant blend of essential oils. Bliss! For seated massage, Christina uses Tui massage waxes. Based on Beeswax and olive oil, these are natural, preservative free, and lightly scented with essential oils to suit any mood.
Payment Methods
Christina accepts payment by debit or credit card: Visa, Mastercard or Maestro. You are also welcome to pay by cash. Cheques are not accepted.
Cancellation Policy
Should you need to cancel or reschedule a massage appointment, please call 24 hours in advance so the session can go to another client. Cancellations received with less than 24 hours’ notice may be billed at 50% of the cost of the booked treatment. “No shows” will result in the full treatment cost being charged to you before further massage treatment can commence.
